Yoga Nidra means "yogic sleep," a guided meditation that can take you into deep relaxation where you may encounter the blissful state that some yogis consider the "true self." From a relaxed state of body and mind, while lying supported by blankets and props, participants are invited to silently state a personal, positive resolve, which plants a seed that can carry into daily life guidance. The quality of rest achieved in the practice of Yoga Nidra can be more effective than actual sleep itself!
