Do you find yourself hunched over your phone, computer or desk? Do you feel tight and sore, or experience limited mobility, headaches or TMJ syndrome? Upper body, neck, and shoulder tension can become so chronic that it masquerades as normal, and the symptoms take on a life of their own.
If you have chronic neck and/or shoulder pain, this workshop will show you how to re-align your neck and shoulders, improve neck and shoulder function, and increase natural and safe range of motion.
Amir will guide you to build your own therapeutic recovery program for your particular situation using simple yoga and body-mechanic techniques to relieve pain and remediate unbalanced postural patterns and their implications for neck and shoulder health.
More than what is taught in a regular yoga class, you will learn about your body alignment and apply a multitude of yoga therapy techniques specific to addressing shoulder and neck issues that you can customize for your own needs, and there's a good chance that your neck and shoulders will feel wonderful after the workshop.
Bring a camera in person and/or view the replay to document what's most useful for you to remember. Amir's workshops are appropriate for all levels of yoga experience, including anyone who has never done yoga before.
