Cool off in our beautiful new space and move with the gentle flows of Qigong and Tai Chi, coordinating body, breath and mind in a meditative dance with nature.
Ancient healers and Shamans shared practices for health and well being over 5,000 years ago. Many of these practices have survived the test of time and are still practiced today all over the world. In China these practices are called Qigong and work by coordinating simple, gentle movements with breath to help bring the body and mind into a state of balance and self-regulation. Later, Tai Chi was developed by adding more complexity for martial arts applications, to enhance brain function, balance, strength and much more.
In this workshop we will focus on having fun and keeping it simple with a few of these practices.
No previous Qigong or Tai chi experience is required.
