You've heard good things about the benefits of meditation, but how do you actually do it when you have a busy life and so many external and internal distractions? Do you find it do-able when a teacher guides you through it, but then you try it on your own and give up?
You're in good company if you're intrigued by the benefits of a meditation practice and at the same time unable to begin or sustain one.
Good news! The shift from being more tempted by meditation than by the distractions that keep you from it is simpler than you might think. In this two-and-a-half hour workshop you'll learn practical, accessible, and easy techniques for overcoming the obstacles to a regular a meditation practice.
We'll also explore when it makes sense to wean yourself from, or completely drop "technique" in favor of the simplest approach of all - becoming still and listening with the expectation that the answers and guidance you're after will register with you.
This workshop is equally appropriate for brand new and experienced meditators who are looking to jumpstart their personal practice.
