Anne teaches a playful, openhearted style of Freedom Yoga, blending what's most appropriate in the moment based on what she's tinkering with in her own practice and who shows up for class. She guides students to trust their intuition and encourages persistent, gentle curiosity to keep the practice fresh and compelling. Anne nudges students toward a creative and alignment-savvy asana practice that erases tight spots and stills the mind's chatter.

Anne’s teaching draws on inspiration from her own practice and her most influential teachers, including: Erich Schiffmann, every fine poet, her cheeky teacher within, and a magical place in Montana called the Feathered Pipe Ranch. She is E-RYT 500-hour Yoga Alliance registered through Sun & Moon. She is also continuing student training in the Trager Approach® to body movement education.
