Self, Community, and Compassion: Dianne Bondy Returns Virtually
We took the above photo in February, 2020. We knew some things then: that yoga is for EVERY body, that justice is a work in progress, that mindfulness and yoga are vehicles for transformation, and a concerning virus was spreading rapidly through an area of China.
Three years later, we know a few more things, all of which have a common thread: wellness is a group project. Whether we're putting on a mask to protect ourselves and others from illness; meditating regularly so we engender kindness, patience, and compassion; or waking up to social inequities and our ability to enact change, each one's individual existence is emphatically intertwined with every other one's. "We're in this together" has never been more true.
Join us Saturday February 4 for "Yoga's Path for Intentional Well-Being, Activism and Community Care," a special virtual afternoon immersion with senior teacher and noted yoga-disruptor Dianne Bondy. She'll lead discussion, asana, and self-reflection designed to unpack ideas and create strategies for collective change from a yogic perspective.
Spend a cozy winter afternoon from the comfort of your own home – gather up your yoga props, bring your favorite afternoon beverage or snack food, and let’s work together on intentional community care and well-being.
