The humble snowdrop, our region's earliest flowering bulb, may offer inspiration to anyone who spies it rise up against the frozen earth's surface later this winter. It will provide a glimpse of green, its small sweet blooms showing their faith as they seek the light. Today we know that a long winter lies ahead, and we also know that the days will get longer. With steady breath and mutual support, we can move through this winter season with soft determination to remain healthy as we keep each other warm in virtual togetherness. Along the way, may we be like the snowdrops and look for the light of 2021 in all possible corners.
