That's right - use your stairs as a yoga prop.
20 years ago, Amir discovered stairs as a great therapeutic tool and prop for exploring yoga poses, and always wanted to teach a workshop on it, but it's not possible at a yoga studio. Now that we are all on home lock down, this is the perfect chance to do it.
In this workshop, you will enrich your practice and your health using your own favorite staircase. Your stairs will provide support, alignment, leverage, inspiration, and guidance. Your stairs will becomes your partner, your supporter, and your friend as you lean on them, step on them, align yourself on them, push off of them, and press into them.
Stairs not only help in the practice, they add another degree of challenge. Discover imagery for alignment, creative use of yoga props, and ideas for exploring and deepening your postures. When you return to practicing yoga on the floor, you just may have a whole new level of awareness. Don't have a staircase at home? You can improvise with a good chair and blocks or thick books.
