YOGA means the connection of apparent opposites. Are you struggling to find connections between the stark contrasting political views that have become apparent over the last few months? 

Elections are the cornerstone of our democracy, but what gets in the way of engaging in civil discourse about them? You are invited to leave your shoes and assumptions at the door (shoes being the easy part!), and enter the yoga studio for thought-provoking dialogue. THIS IS NOT TO DISCUSS CANDIDATES, but rather to create respectful and engaging space for all to talk about why it’s so hard to talk about it, and to find more ease in these conversations when you put your shoes back on to enter the public space.

We will do a simple practice of mindful centering at the beginning, follow it up with a meaningful and insightful discussion, followed by a grounding restorative pose at the end.
