Our Fairfax studio sparkles this winter with a new schedule
full of classes sure to illuminate your inner being.
A warm welcome back into the Sun & Moon fold to Suzanne Morgan! She'll be teaching her sweet style of hatha class on Wednesdays at 6pm to help you awaken your body's natural capacity for healing, for grounding, and for connection.
Your body, connective tissue, and core muscle integrity will thank you for joining veteran Northern Virginia teacher Kathy Low for Tone & Stretch on Saturdays at 10am and Tuesdays at 4:30pm, offering a blend of yoga, mat Pilates, and small weights to improve strength, flexibility, and balance (Kathy will also offer a weekly Myofascial Release class on Mondays at 4p in Arlington).
Saturday morning also welcomes Caroline Robinson for Vinyasa at 8:30am. Caroline took classes at Sun & Moon as a teen, and is back more than a decade later to guide you to incorporate breathing and meditative techniques into a heat-building asana practice to move with freedom and awareness on and off the mat.
And we are thrilled to add an in-person Tai Chi and Qigong Wednesdays at noon with Orit Dahari, a licensed acupuncturist who expertly weaves her unique background in clinical treatments, music, and movement scholarship, as her extensive biomedical studies give her insight to the needs of her students
Look for some great tweaks to old favorites, including Vicki on both Tuesday AND Thursday evenings, Chrissy with a new Hatha 1 on Monday mornings in addition to her Wednesday morning All Levels, Rachel with a new Hatha 1 on Wednesday mornings, and Prenatal with Kate at a new time on Sundays at noon.
